Construction

Steve Melton began learning the construction trade in middle school, working part-time alongside his father, Wayne Melton, in the family flooring business. He learned craftsmanship from the ground up; one board, one detail, and one job at a time.

By 1985, he was building full-time, and now more than forty years later, he is still personally managing projects, leading his crew, and finishing detailed carpentry work by hand.

Wayne Melton passed away in 2004, but the standards he taught remain at the core of every project Steve builds today: precision, patience, integrity, and a commitment to doing the work right even when no one else would notice. That dedication is not a marketing slogan. It is a family legacy carried into every custom home, remodel, and addition completed by Steve Melton Construction.
